Become a member of the Cairns Historical Society

The Cairns Historical Society exists because of the generosity of the community it serves.

As a membership-based, not-for-profit registered charity, the Society relies on annual member support to continue preserving and sharing the social history of Cairns and Far North Queensland.

Membership fees provide essential income that allows us to operate the Cairns Museum and Research Centre, care for more than 100,000 archival documents, photographs and objects, and deliver exhibitions, public programs and research services.

By becoming a member, you help ensure the region’s history remains accessible and protected for future generations.
